Most clinic software charges per staff member, per month, whether you’re busy or not. Serene only does well when your clinic does, so everything we build is aimed at filling your calendar, not upselling you to a higher tier.

What counts as card sales processed through Serene?

Card payments your clinic takes through Serene’s POS and online booking: tap, insert, or stored card. The 1.9% is the total fee on those transactions, card processing included. There is no separate merchant fee on top.

What about cash payments?

Cash payments recorded in Serene carry no fee. Serene is designed around its built-in payment processing, so a fair-use policy applies: clinics routinely routing card payments around Serene will be contacted first, and accounts that continue may be switched off.

Are there any other fees?

SMS messages are billed at 6c each as they are sent, with no monthly minimums.

Do I need to buy hardware?

Yes, one card terminal: $450, purchased once. It arrives ready to pair with your Serene account, and in the Sydney CBD we will Uber it to your clinic on purchase.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No lock-in contracts, no monthly minimums. Your data is yours to export any time.

What does onboarding involve?

A dedicated onboarding specialist migrates your client list, treatment menu and upcoming appointments, then trains your team. Most clinics are live within a day.
